Site Services Manager

An opportunity has arisen for a Site Services Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Operations Director, supporting the Engineering and Production Teams, you will be responsible for managing the workload and productivity of the site services team of approx. 12 people.

Responsibilities

The management and control of all site activities ensuring that all work is undertaken in a safe and timely manner in accordance with all Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.

Preparation of and / or checking all relevant documentation prior to the commencement of the works, including but not limited to:

  • Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
  • Test and Inspection documentation
  • Site Materials, Plant and Equipment Requisitions
  • Daily diary sheets
  • Daily allocation sheets
  • Records of delays and changes, including the financial implications

To work alongside the Senior Project Engineers, Assist operational managers with required duties to regularly review the progress of the works and attendance at site visits / meetings .

Drive a culture of health and safety through leading by example, motivate others within the production environment and to deliver effective communications and briefings including site inductions and regular Tool Box Talks for all resources visiting and working on the site.

Assist our tendering department with the generation of tenders and technical proposals as necessary including technical reviews of estimates, proposals completed by other engineers

Qualifications / Preferred Skills

Ideally you will be a time served apprentice, electrically biased with an industry applicable ONC or City & Guilds / NVQ equivalent and happy to jump on the tools when needed.

Demonstrable experience of working within the manufacturing / water industry.

Relevant H&S qualifications (IOSH or CITB 5 Day Site Safety Management

A relevant CSCS/ECS card

First Aid training

Working knowledge of Microsoft packages

Ideally have experience or an understanding of Continuous Improvement tools, techniques and problem resolution.

Excellent communication skills
