A Skilled Workforce

The company’s Engineers are involved with all aspects of the work including delivery, site installation and commissioning, which is a key element in supporting customer / projects in the UK and overseas.  All deployable personnel are CSCS Card Holders and / or Safety Passport Card Holders.  All employees who undertake offshore contracts are subject to Minimum Industry Safety Training (MIST) and Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET) or Further Offshore Emergency Training (FOET), if they have previously undertaken the BOSIET course.

Blackburn Starling is a leading company in the upgrade, modification, extension, re-testing & certification of existing LV assemblies and assets which require modification or extension to extend their operational life. With a significant installed base of products in the industry this delivers a consistent revenue stream of work. When coupled with our ability to include LV equipment from obsolete and discontinued manufacturers where we can carry out modifications or replace obsolete or non-maintainable components, re-certifying the equipment we can offer our customers significant efficiencies in their capital programmes.
